Double opposition between French and English clubs this Tuesday in the Champions League. Monaco got the better of Aston Villa (1-0) while Lille narrowly lost to numerically inferior Liverpool (2-1). Nothing to be ashamed of for the French clubs, who continue to do well this season in the European Cup. Thus, France still occupies 7th place in the current season, in particular due to very good performances from Portugal and Belgium. But the gap is closing, and the points will start to become rare with the tough matches that arrive.
