Every year, the winter sales begin on the second Wednesday of January. Their duration is now 4 weeks (instead of 6). This will “concentrate price reductions over a shorter period of time and strengthen their impact”, explains the Ministry of the Economy.

This season, the 2025 winter sales will begin in France on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at 8 a.m. End of winter sales on February 4, 2025 !
Although this highly anticipated big sale does not deserve the nickname given to it by the English (“The Boxing Day”), there are often crowds on these dates. But the most savvy, the “Fashion addicts”, will have already made their choice beforehand, by identifying the right colors, the right sizes, and… the opening hours. According to a survey carried out by Ma Réduc, 57% of French people planned to go on sale in 2017. At the top of the list were clothing (74%), hygiene/beauty items (28%) and furniture (27% ).
