A Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
According to the authorities’ initial assessment, one dead and seven injured are to be counted.
Impressive images. A Tesla Cybertruck, parked in front of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, exploded this Wednesday, shortly before 9 a.m. local time. “We are investigating a vehicle fire. The fire is out”indicates the local police on X. “Please avoid the area”call the authorities. “Earlier today, an electric vehicle fire was reported at the entrance to Trump Las Vegas. We thank the Las Vegas Fire Department and local law enforcement for their quick response”confirms, for its part, the establishment.
“The entire Tesla leadership team is currently investigating this matter. We will release more information as soon as we learn anything. We have never seen anything like this”assures Elon Musk, the boss of the firm.
According to initial findings by emergency services, one person was killed – possibly the driver of the vehicle – and seven others injured, report ABC News and NBC News. “There is a deceased person inside the Cybertruck and I don’t know if it’s a man or a woman at this time”explains Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McCahill, in comments relayed by CNN. As for the other victims, the official mentions injuries “minors”.
