Bryce James, LeBron’s youngest son, is set to play for Arizona in the upcoming college Basketball season. According to 247 Sports reporter Jason Sheer, Bryce, currently at Sierra Canyon, had Duquesne and Ohio State as other options.
This means that Bryce James will be available for the 2026 NBA Draft. It should be noted that his brother, Bronny, played one year at USC before being drafted last year. He is now part of the Los Angeles Lakers squad.

Physically, Bryce is about two inches taller than his brother. More importantly, he has the size to play as a guard or wing in the NBA. Reports suggest he is between 1.94m and 1.96m tall.
Bronny’s unfortunate experience at USC led Bryce to choose a different school. Bronny dealt with a heart problem just months before making his college basketball debut, losing all preparation for the only season he played there. When he finally returned to the field, he was not at the same physical and technical level as his peers.
In the NBA, Bronny was selected 55th by the Lakers in the last Draft and played seven games. However, he played more for the team in the G League. In the seven games he has appeared in so far with the South Bay Lakers, he is averaging 13.4 points, 3.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals.

At the University of Arizona, Bryce James will have the opportunity to play with less pressure than his brother, while LeBron will watch from afar. While Bronny had his father by his side for many games, the youngest James will be playing in another state.
While Bronny is a defensive-minded player, Bryce is an excellent three-point shooter, but he also plays defense. He made significant progress over the past year, hitting 55.6 percent of his attempts from distance during Session 4 of the EYBL in Kansas City. According to LeBron, the young man is the best shooter of the three.
For now, LeBron says he’s close to retirement. But Tristan Thompson, with whom he played and won a title with the Cleveland Cavaliers, said James’ plan is to play alongside his two sons.
