Michael van Gerwen managed to qualify for the semi-finals of the World Darts, after a very interesting duel against Callan Rydz.
Callan Rydz believed in it, but he ultimately had to give in. The Englishman was unable to go the distance against Michael van Gerwen, at the end of what was undoubtedly the best match of the 2025 World Darts.
Favorite, van Gerwen trembled and the two men linked perfect shots, or almost, only managing to decide between themselves with great difficulty. But it was ultimately the experienced Dutchman who shot too many darts to reach the last four, like Chris Dobey, who struggled to finish against Gerwyn Price in the first meeting of the day.
The rest of the quarter-finals will be followed on RTL Play, with the meetings between Wright and Bunting and especially between Littler and Aspinall.
