The images broadcast on all television channels reflected the violence of the shock. A bus, which was providing a regular route between several cities in Norway, ended up in a frozen lake in the Lofoten archipelago. The weather conditions were very bad, complicating the emergency response.

It was last December 26. The vehicle was carrying 58 people, including many tourists. The accident left three dead and four injured. Among the victims, two Alsatians, a woman, mother and one of her sons. The couple’s husband and another child were injured in the accident.

The mother was a trombone professor at the Saint-Louis Conservatory, in Haut-Rhin. The management of the establishment confirmed this to us by telephone this Monday, December 30.
