According to Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona could look for free players next summer. The Catalan media cites four names that would interest the Blaugrana.

FC Barcelona doesn’t have a single penny in its pockets, but it has more than one trick up its sleeve! While the club has suffered from financial problems for several years – the same problems which risk making Dani Olmo leave this winter, six months after his arrival for €60 million – Barça would have found a way to record, despite everything, new players next summer.

According to information from Sports Worldthe club and its management are now considering recruiting free players. It is therefore likely that footballers at the end of their contract at least next June will bounce back at Barça.

Still according to the Iberian media, FC Barcelona would already have five players in mind, all free this summer if they do not extend, to strengthen themselves. In the defensive sector, Jonathan Tah (Bayer Leverkusen) is a player monitored for several weeks by the Barcelona board. Reinildo (Atlético de Madrid and Thomas Partey (Arsenal) would also be monitored by the red and blue club.

Finally, up front, the Barcelona residents are considering the arrival of Jonathan David, at the end of his contract with LOSC this summer. However, the Canadian is far from being the only number 9 observed by the Blaugrana, who are also closely scrutinizing the performances of Erling Haaland (Manchester City) or Viktor Gyökeres (Sporting). They will not be free.
