The concept seems so obvious that one wonders how no one has thought of it before.

At the beginning of December, the first store 100% dedicated to pâté en croute, a product particularly appreciated and consumed in Lyon, opened its doors on the Presqu’île, rue Dubois (2e).

A genius idea attributed to Bruno Poncet, a Lyon entrepreneur converted to charcuterie, who soberly named his business with the first three letters of his first name: « Bru ».

“I wanted to break the codes of charcuterie”

A great lover of cooking, the latter has made a 360-degree turn post-Covid passing your charcuterie CAP after having set up several companies in sales, commerce and real estate, of which he remained at the head for many years. Experiences that ultimately led him to create “Bru”.

I saw that there were more and more stores specializing in single-product products. I told myself that with the pâté en croute, there was something to do, that we could really rework the way of presenting it and enhance it. I wanted to break the charcuterie codes.
