the essential
Sydom Aveyron and the community of municipalities are satisfied with the distribution of orange bags in the Decazeville region.
A distribution of orange bags for sorting bio-waste took place from November 13 to December 13 to residents of the Decazeville community. In collaboration with Sydom Aveyron (departmental household waste union), the community of municipalities has chosen to offer a complementary solution to the practice of composting.
The orange bag makes it possible to expand the recovery of bio-waste not allowed in the composter (leftover meals, bones, meat, fish, etc.). For households that cannot compost, all bio-waste can be put in the orange bag. The twelve municipalities in the region are affected by this system. The distribution of the accompanying bags and buckets was carried out by Decazeville community agents, supported by Sydom agents who presented the new sorting gesture to residents.
