Franjo von Allmen, who is only experiencing his third winter in the World Cup, struck a big blow in Bormio. The young Swiss skier achieved the best time after the passage of the first 18 downhillers, i.e. all the elite of the discipline.

Von Allmen did better than Cameron Alexander (+0”48) and Mattia Casse (+0”55). Marco Odermatt, who almost fell, finished 4th even though his airbag opened following his mishap.

Justin Murisier 5th and Stefan Rogentin 9th.
