At the initiative of the Friends of the Abbey, the abbey church vibrated to the enchanting voices of Vox Vallis, The voice of the valley enchanted that of Lauquet for a great Christmas concert which will remain in the memories. The choir, created in 2022, based in Espéraza, made up of artists of multiple nationalities, performed a Christmas repertoire as rich as their diverse cultures.
Under the masterful direction of James McOran-Campbell, and accompanied on the piano by the talented Naira Oganssaisan, the singers of Vox Vallis offered a performance that was both brilliant and full of fervor, honoring this place steeped in history. This cultural richness was wonderfully felt in a flamboyant repertoire, at the height of the abbey and the spirit of Christmas. Didier Guillon, president of the Friends of the Abbey and Patricia Hyduk, president of Vox Vallis, send a huge thank you to the public, whose warmth and enthusiasm in singing in chorus enhanced this evening.
