Seriously injured, the victim was hospitalized after being freed by his attackers. Doctors assessed his total incapacity for work (ITT) at 30 days.

At least two other suspects on the run

The investigations made it possible to identify and arrest a first suspect, already known to the justice services. The police are now working to identify at least two other accomplices involved in these acts, which are part of a settling of scores linked to drug trafficking.

The suspect was presented to an investigating judge this Friday who indicted him for kidnapping, sequestration, acts of torture and barbarity. He was then placed in pre-trial detention by a judge of freedoms and detention (JLD). The investigation is being carried out by the organized and specialized crime division (DCOS) of Dijon.
