Except that in a caravan or camper van, you set up in specially designed areas or in campsites. In a van, we are tempted to sleep almost everywhere…

And parking in any parking lot is not necessarily attractive. This is why Evazion by Huttopia is looking for unoccupied land, public or private, in Occitaniato offer to its vanlifer customers.

“An extra soul”

“Farmer or private, you own land with extra soul, you want to develop it and earn an income from it without worrying about managing reservations. You also want to participate in the tourism development of your region,” asks the company, which wishes to develop this concept of “wild camping” but not completely.

“By welcoming nomadic travelers, in vans, converted vans or roof tents, on their land, owners participate in the development of respectful and more responsible tourism. They thus contribute to the development of the territory and highlighting the know-how, products and heritage of Occitanie,” assures the company.

“No need to be with a local, the land can be far from any buildings and without infrastructure,” adds Evazion, who is looking for “spots” in unique private places, “carefully selected and validated before being marketed”. Each traveler who reserves his or her pitch then undertakes to respect a charter of values ​​which allows the preservation and enhancement of natural lands. Controls and rest periods for the land are also planned.

Advantages for land owners

For owners who have a beautiful piece of land suitable for stopping a van, it is a way that is entirely suited to the regulations to generate additional income, “particularly for farmers and craftsmen who can also promote their productions”.

Spots rented for 20 to 30 euros per night

“For every night spent on his private land, the owner receives an amount (35%) which allows him to benefit from a significant additional income. For example, a spot rented for between €20 and €30 per night can generate an average income of around €1,000,” calculates the company, which is responsible for managing reservations and the entire aspect. legal (two vehicles and two nights maximum in the same place), in addition to covering each site with its insurance against possible damage or accidents.

And there are not many criteria for owners to meet. You don't even need a water point, electricity or amenities. “The most important criteria?
