Andrej Ilic, on loan from LOSC in Berlin, loses his coach in Germany

Loaned by LOSC to Union Berlin, Andrej Ilic sees his environment being turned upside down in Germany where his coach, the Dane Bo Svensson, was sacked.

The news is turbulent across the Rhine, where there is no time for stability. Union Berlin, twelfth in the Bundesliga seven points from the relegation zone, announced the dismissal of Bo Svensson:
“After a thorough analysis of the season so far, we are convinced that a significant change is necessary for a reversal of the trend. We therefore decided not to continue working with Bo Svensson, Babak Keyhanfar, Kristoffer Wichmann and Tijan Njie. We would like to thank Bo Svensson and his team for the work they have done and wish them the best for the future”explains Horst Heldt, general director of men's football, in a press release published by the Berlin team.

The Danish technician did not resist the current bad series of Union Berlin which remains in nine consecutive matches without success, including an elimination in the second round of the German Cup against Bielefeld (0-2), club of third division. The identity of his successor will be made official by January 2, 2025.

On an individual level, Andrej Ilic (24 years old) has not played a single minute in the colors of Union Berlin since his arrival in Germany at the end of last summer. Hampered by recurring physical problems, he has not had his chance and could, as we indicated to you at the beginning of December, see his loan canceled by LOSC during the winter.
