Haute-Savoie firefighters rescued a woman trapped in her car after a fall in a ravine in Saint-Jean d’Aulps this Thursday evening. In Savoie, two fires broke out in Saint-François-Longchamp and Aix-les-Bains.
Falls in a ravine in Saint-Jean-d’Aulps
A road accident mobilized the Haute-Savoie firefighters this Thursday evening in Saint-Jean d’Aulps. A 40-year-old woman fell in a ravine on departmental 902 around 10:40 p.m. She found herself trapped in her vehicle, which required a major effort from the firefighters with the mountain group and ravine team members.
She was finally freed before being medically treated on site and then treated in a relative emergency. The victim was transported to Thonon hospital.
Two fires in Savoie
The Savoie firefighters intervened in Aix-les-Bains during the night from Thursday to Friday for the fire in a commercial shed. He was totally on fire when they arrived around 2 a.m. The disaster was brought under control.
A little earlier in the evening, the Savoyard firefighters had already intervened in Saint-François Longchamp for a fire in a house. There were no injuries either but firefighters were still on site surveillance this Friday morning.
