Before his death on December 29, 2022, the late king of football left his mark on the sport for a long time, both through his quality of play and his efficiency in front of goals.
According to his own revelations, he would have scored 1,283 goals during his career, even if official statistics give him a figure of 767 goals scored in 831 matches.
Pelé is, however, to date, the only player to have won three World Cups (1958, 1962 and 1970).
