VOGHERA – And Christmas thought for all hospitalized patients pediatrics department of the civil hospital of Voghera. It's the surprise that the command of Local Police of the municipality of Voghera did to young hospital patients.
The idea was born in November following a proposal from an agent
The initiative took shape in November, when agent Alessio Foresto proposed the idea to Commander Mauro Maccarini, who welcomed it with enthusiasm. The project found full support in the Councilor with responsibility for the Local Police, William Tura, and in the management of the hospital department.
The toys, all new, have been purchased thanks to teamwork that involved the entire Command: from Commander Maccarini to the agents and administrative employees. The goal? Give moments of joy and light-heartedness to the little patients, with the gifts that will remain available to the pediatric department to cheer up the children in the future.
Councilor William Tura was present at the deliveryCommander Mauro Maccarini and three Local Police officers, warmly welcomed by doctors, hospital staff and children, who expressed great happiness in receiving the gifts.
“I offer great applause to our Local Police, who, thanks to the idea of the agent Alessio Foresto, brought forward a worthy proposal – declared the Councilor for the Local Police William Tura –. We are very happy to have created pleasant and carefree moments for hospitalized children. The doctors and hospital staff expressed sincere gratitude for this beautiful initiative. This is a further stage in the path undertaken by the Local Police, which we want to be increasingly perceived as an added value to improve the quality of life of our community”.
