Following the decisions of the Sports Judge during the 17th matchday of Serie A, Guilbert of Lecce was disqualified for one match of the championship. Ehizibue (Udinese), Emerson Royal (Milan), Pezzella (Empoli) and Zaniolo (Atalanta).
Fine of 8 thousand euros for Lecce, however, “to have his supporters, during the match, throw three firecrackers, seven smoke bombs and two plastic bottles in the playing area and two plastic bottles on the playing field; reduced sanction pursuant to art. 29, paragraph 1 letter b) CGS”.
Hellas Verona-Milan, the decisions
Furthermore, regarding the match between Hellas Verona and Milan, the Sports Judge asked the Federal Prosecutor's Office for “a further detailed report regarding the number of fans responsible for the chants, the status of the procedure for identifying those responsible and the collaboration in this regard , of the Scaliger society”. At the end of the match, Milan's goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, complained about racial discrimination chants against him to the referee Marinelli, who had not taken action during the match. Regarding the same match, Verona's sporting director, Sean Sogliano, was disqualified for one match “for having addressed a disrespectful criticism to the match director”.
