The “Santa Claus Garden” set up in Viale Monte Falcone by the Laghetto Cultural Center in Monte Compatri was inaugurated.

Inside the land next to the association's headquarters, there were Santa Claus, the Elves and the Grinch waiting for the younger children who were able to send letters with requests for gifts.

Other events and activities will be organized until January 6th, always aimed at children.

The Laghetto Cultural Center then organizes the traditional “Socks Workshop” for the Befana on January 5th, while on January 6th in Laghetto there will be a “Parade of the Befane” through the streets of the hamlet with the population invited to wear any red garment, underlining how also “the Befane are women and ask for respect”.

The event is part of the Monticiano Christmas organized by the Municipality of Monte Compatri with the collaboration of various associations.

On the last day of the year, December 31st at 11.30 am, a walk performance by the Compatrum Musical Folklore Corps to wish a good end and a good start to the year.

The “Amici Piegoni Team” organizes the fourteenth edition of the Motobefana – 1st Marco Molinari Memorial on Saturday January 5 from 9am to 11am. The day before, from 10am to 6pm in front of the Bar Europa, the motorcyclists of the association organize a collection of goods in favor of the family homes which they will then deliver.

LJanuary 11th a conference entitled “Marco Mastrofini this unknown” dedicated to the philosopher born in Monte Compatri will take place in Tinello Borghese at 4.30 pm. From the morning onwards a historical documentary exhibition on this great character will also be set up.

In the end Tuesday 21 January The final event of the “Musica in fabula” project organized by the Triplo Fuoco association will take place at Palazzo Annibaldeschi.
