Inter-Como 2-0: Carlos Augusto-Thuram, the Nerazzurri struggle but take home the 3 points

Atalanta and Napoli strike another blow, Inter responds again. Simone Inzaghi's team responds to their rivals and in the final half-time match on Monday they beat Como 2-0 at the end of a more complicated match than expected. After a blocked first half with few real ideas, the match was broken at the start of the second half by Carlos Augusto's winning header following Calhanoglu's corner. Second consecutive goal for the former Monza player after the one at the Olimpico against Lazio. Como doesn't give up, they come close to a draw with Nico Paz (well done Sommer), they believe in it. But in the second minute of injury time it was Thuram who chased away any fears with a right-footed shot that bent Reina's hands and went under the crossbar. Inter thus returns to -3 behind leaders Atalanta and -1 from second place Napoli, still with the match against Fiorentina to be completed. The three-way race at the top of Serie A continues.
