Apple is highly appreciated by users for the long software support that its team is able to guarantee to users and yet another confirmation comes with reference to iOS 19the version of the company's mobile operating system that will be released next year.
Well, according to the latest rumors, all devices that currently support iOS 18 will be able to count on the update to the next version of the operating system.
This, however, does not exclude that some of the more recent features (such as, for example, those based on artificial intelligence) could be limited to the newer models.
Who should receive the iOS 19 update
Basically, iOS 19 should be available for the following iPhones:
- iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max (2025)
- iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max (2024)
- iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max (2023)
- iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max (2022)
- iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max (2021)

The discussion relating to is a little different iPadOS 19for which the abandonment of some older iPad models would be expected. In particular, the new version of Apple's operating system should not be available for iPad 7 and iPad Pro (2017).
And so iPadOS 19 should support the following models:
- iPad mini (5th generation or later)
- iPad (8th generation or later)
- iPad Air (3rd generation or later)
- iPad Pro (2018 or later)
At the moment, the innovations that the team of developers will implement with the next version of the Cupertino giant's operating system are not known but it is almost certain that great space will be reserved for features based on artificial intelligence.
In the coming months we will know more while for the official presentation we will have to be patient until the Worldwide Developers Conference 2025 in June.
