at 10.30 the start with lots of blue and… Vonn (n° 31)

Good conditions on the Corviglia, for the second super-g of the women's World Cup: Goggia, with the red bib, starting seventh after Gut-Behrami and a few numbers before Brignone, Curtoni and Bassino. After almost 6 years, LV84 returns, with ten Italians at the gate.

The weather and track conditions are good, everything is now ready for the first of the two women's super-g in Sankt Moritz, where at 10.30 the great battle will begin on the track designed by an Italian technician, Marco Viale, who has been following for some time of the French team.

The Italians are at the top of the forecast, together with Lara Gut-behrami who won her first race here 16 years ago (and one day, it was 20 December 2008): the Ticino girl will start with bib no. 6, to open the first group that then includes Sofia Goggia, who beat her in Beaver Creek, with 7 before Huetter (8), Lie (9), Brignone with 10 to look for the second victory here after that of 2021, Puchner (11), Ledecka (12) and then the duo with Elena Curtoni and Marta Bassino.

Before and after the world top 10, two other Italians with ambitions: Roberta Melesi with bib no. 2 and Laura Pirovano with 17, with the thirty-year-old among other important names such as Robinson, Raedler and Gisin, who will have 20. And with the 31st, after almost 6 years, here is Lindsey Vonn returning to compete in the top circuit: it will be very interesting to see her.
