Public clash between the two protagonists of the film It Ends With Us after rumors of disagreements on the set.

Blake Lively has decided to move from rumors to facts by filing a lawsuit against her co-star and director of It Ends With UsJustin Baldoni, for sexual harassment and an alleged intent to destroy his reputation.

The situation during filming would have degenerated to the point of call a meeting to be able to discuss allegations against a work environment that would have been particularly hostile.

The demands in Blake Lively's complaint

Based on what Lively's complaint reports, during the meeting on set requests were made such as a ban on showing the actress videos or images of naked women, a ban on mentioning Baldoni's alleged addiction to pornographic material, a ban on discussing sexual experiences in front of Lively as well as a ban on referring to members' genitals of the cast and crew and to ask questions about the actress's weight.

The lawsuit documents also include requests to prohibit the addition of sex scenes for Lively, outside of those in the script approved by herself at the time of signing the contract. The requests would be accepted by the studio but the lack of success of the film could also be attributed to conflicting choices in the promotion phase, with divergences on the tone of the campaign.

Furthermore, Blake Lively accuses Justin Baldoni of trying to destroy her reputation.

Justin Baldoni's response

Baldoni's official response via his lawyer, Bryan Freedman, was not long in coming:“It is shameful that Ms. Lively and her representatives are making such serious and categorically false allegations against Mr. Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios and his representatives, in yet another desperate attempt to 'make up' for his negative reputation caused by his own statements during the campaign for the film. Interviews and press activity were observed publicly, in real time and without editing, allowing the internet to form its own opinions.”.

It Ends With Us – Enough is Enough, review: a more complex romance than it appears

In Freedman's long note, Blake Lively is accused of having tried to construct a new narrative on what happened, accusing the actress of threats and spreading invented negative stories, so much so as to induce Wayfarer Studios to hire a professional in crisis of this type.
