Weather alert, warning from the Civil Protection: rain, snow and very strong winds soon. Regions at risk

The arrival of more cold air from the North Europa towards our peninsula caused the formation of a cyclone in the Tyrrhenian Sea. In next few hours we will have more snowfall up to high hilly altitudes in the mid-Adriatic regions, with an intensification of ventilation from the northern quadrants over much of the Centre-South. Civil protection has issued aweather alert also for Saturday 21 December.
Il Department of Civil Protection in agreement with the regions involved (who are responsible for activating the civil protection systems in the territories concerned) issued a warning of adverse weather conditions. The weather phenomena, impacting the different areas of the country, could determine hydrogeological and hydraulic criticalities which are reported, in a national summary, in the national criticality and alert bulletin which can be consulted on the Department's website (www.protezionecivile.gov.it).
WEATHER ALERT : On the basis of the foreseen and ongoing phenomena, it was evaluated for the day of Saturday 21 December, orange alert on some sectors of Emilia Romagna, yellow alert on Romagna, Marche, Umbria, Molise, Campania, Calabria and Sicily.
