A first opportunity to qualify. At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal hosts AS Monaco on Wednesday December 11 (9 p.m.). Already very well placed in the single group standings, the two teams can reach the 13-point mark in the event of a victory, a symbolic threshold to qualify at least for the Champions League play-offs.

In addition to a solid defense (the second best in the English championship with only 15 goals conceded since the start of the season), danger can come from anywhere for the Gunners. Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli all have something to thrill. Even if the Londoners are favorites for the match, the Monegasques have serious arguments to thwart their opponent, having already beaten FC Barcelona (2-1) this season. In 2015, during their last confrontation, AS Monaco of Fabinho and Yannick Carrasco eliminated Arsenal (1-3, 0-2) and qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
