Racing Bulls have announced the signing of Isack Hadjar. The French-Algerian driver will join Yuki Tsunoda. The 2025 Formula 1 grid is thus completed.
Isack Hadjar will be the teammate of Yuki Tsunoda at the Racing Bulls in the World Cup Formula 1 2025. The news was practically a given, now it’s official. The French-Algerian driver will thus make his debut in the circus. With the hiring of Hadjar the grid for the 2025 Formula 1 Championship is completed.
The great maneuvers of Red Bull and Racing Bulls
Red Bull has revived Formula 1 in these last days of December, without surprising, however. First Checo Perez was liquidated, then Liam Lawson was promoted alongside Verstappen. An expected decision, but in any case surprising because Tsunoda, who had better numbers than the New Zealander, also seemed to have a chance. And now Hadjar’s promotion has arrived.
The career of Hadjar, who will make his Formula 1 debut at the age of 20
Hadjar was born in September 2004. He is a French-Algerian pilot. He was born in France, took Algerian nationality, but his sporting nationality is French, so he joins the Transalpines in the group with Gasly and Ocon. He has never managed to win a championship, he came close to the Formula 2 championship this year, losing on the wire to Bortoletto. He has been part of the Red Bull family for years and drove in both 2023 and 2024 several times in free practice for Formula 1 Grand Prix.
