Complete starting grid
Only the Red Bull ads were missing and VCARB to definitively complete the entry-list of 2025 seasonwith the official announcements arriving before Christmas: while the Milton Keynes team promoted Liam Lawson from its satellite team, with the New Zealander replacing Sergio Perez next year, the same Faenza team has consequently made official the one who will be the Yuki Tsunoda’s new teammate.
Another rookie
As expected from recent rumors, the 20-year-old will share the garage with the Japanese driver Isack Hadjarvice-champion of Formula 2. Consequently, for the Parisian it will be thedebut absolute in Formula 1 as an official driver after participating in several FP1 sessions between 2023 and 2024 as third driver for Red Bull and VCARB, thus joining two other rookies who have never participated in a race and who will line up on the starting grid next year: Gabriel Bortoleto, with whom he fought for the F2 title until the last test on the calendar, and Andrea Kimi Antonelli.
Confirmation of the promotion came a short while ago from a team press release, which highlighted the details of the agreement reached with the driver: exactly like Lawson with Red Bull, the contract will be valid only for 2025with Hadjar who will therefore have to fight for a permanence in the coming seasons.
The results achieved
Born in 2004 and with an Algerian passport, Hadjar joined the Red Bull Junior Team in 2022, the year in which he finished in 3rd place in Asian F4, obtaining 3 victories in Formula 3. Winner of four races in the last Formula 2 season, the Frenchman he fought with Bortoleto until the last round of the championship to win the title, however finishing in 2nd place in the general classification.
