They fail to achieve the objective of overtaking the Portuguese to fly to second place, distancing themselves from the obstacle of Chelsea until the eventual final. Fiorentina arrives third in the preliminary round.
It’s not a good Fiorentina, the first half was very bad for the Viola and long stretches of the second half (in addition to Gustavo Silva’s goal, the Portuguese could have scored others) then in the final, also thanks to the changes of Palladinothe Viola create chances until Mandragora equalises on a cross from Dodo.
