The Nerazzurri did everything in the first half when Taremi, on the half hour mark, served Arnautovic excellently in the corridor, a left-footed shot that made it 1-0. Asllani doubled the lead directly from a corner in the 47th minute after play had been stopped for around 6 minutes to allow treatment for a spectator suffering from cardiac arrest: a doctor on duty at San Siro was heroic in giving him first aid. Of note is a penalty first awarded to Inter by Kabasele after just 5 minutes and then removed during the on field review. Doubts remain.
