Europa Conference League Prediction
Not all European cups are at a standstill in this cold pre-Christmas midweek. The Conference League, for example, allows itself one round, within which the match between Heidenheim and St. Gallen is scheduled. A race, moreover, with a prediction that is anything but easy…
This is because, if you were to look at the level of the respective leagues, obviously a German club facing a Swiss team should be favoured. Widely favored, we might add. However, then, there are other elements to evaluate. Like, for example, the form of the two teams, which at the moment favors the Germans a little (third from last in the Bundesliga) and a little (but very little) more for the Swiss.
The match between Heidenheim and St. Gallen, therefore, is quite indecipherable, but it is decidedly important for the ranking: the hosts, in fact, are fifteenth in the rankings, with nine points in five matches, while the guests are actually thirty-six (out of thirty-six participants in the single group of this initial phase) and they practically have the last chance to hope to get back into the running at least for the play-off zone.
The match will be played on Teutonic soil: it will be played on Thursday evening, at 9.00 pm, at the Voith Arena in Heidenheim.
