As promised in recent days, Warner Bros. has published the first official trailer online Supermanthe comic book film written and directed by James Gunn, which will be released in cinemas on July 10, 2025 and will give life to the new DC Universe.

Inspired by the comic run “All-Star Superman” by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely, this film will have the burden (and honor) of presenting a new version of the Man of Steel more than ten years after his last stand-alone film. The story will focus on the attempt to Superman to find a balance between his Kryptonian cultural heritage and his childhood as a human; will be the “representation of truth, justice and the American dream – the embodiment of kindness, in a world that sees this quality as antiquated.”
Superman is part of Chapter 1 of DC Universe, Gods and Monsters.
