“The biggest obstacle, though, would be Rashford’s reluctance to leave European football. Marcus wants to relaunch himself in the national team with Tuchel”

Linked to Napoli on several occasions but in the sights of major European clubs, Marcus Rashford he seems almost certain of his farewell to United. A bit eats McTominay – who has spent almost his entire football career at Old Trafford – it now seems ripe for the English striker to leave. Also because in recent years United seems to turn everything that passes through those fields into wood and not gold. Today the Telegraph even talks about an interest from Saudi Arabia, which obviously would give a lot of economic relief both to the footballer (who certainly doesn’t need it to live) and above all to the club, which is not exactly in order with its financial accounts. However, the Englishman does not seem so intent on leaving European football, despite receiving and requesting a significant salary.

Below is what we read in the well-known British newspaper:
“Unlike Salah or De Bruyne, Rashford is not out of contract at the end of this season, but SPL will not be put off by the financial aspect. The league has been waiting for Salah and De Bruyne’s contracts to expire, although it remains to be seen whether the pair will agree new deals with Liverpool and Manchester City respectively. De Bruyne has been linked to MLS club San Diego, while City could offer him a role at one of their football clubs once he decides to leave.
Rashford is of interest to the four main SPL clubs – Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli – but there is also talk of an interest from Al-Qadisah, a newly promoted team that does not belong to the Public Investment Fund (Pif) but is still well financed. Any potential deal could be complicated, for example for Al-Ittihad, by the limit of foreign players allowed in Spl clubs. The current league leaders already have the eight foreigners (over 21 years old) allowed in their squad for this and next season, although they could make room to make room for Rashford.”
Yet, not too many days ago, the English striker had considered the hypothesis of a relaunch in the European football that counts. The Telegraph continues:
“The biggest obstacle, though, would be Rashford’s reluctance to leave European football. In an interview in which he announced his desire to leave United, Rashford underlined that he wanted to relaunch his career with the England national team, aware that he must play at a high level to be recalled by new manager Thomas Tuchel. Rashford has not played for England since a brief appearance as a substitute against Brazil in March. The SPL have begun their winter break and it is believed that, if an offer for Rashford comes through, it will be more likely in the summer rather than the January window.”
