The Spaniard had already announced that “his choices would speak more than his declarations”. Now will PSG want Osimhen or not?

Luis Enrique he’s making PSG discuss results and choices (but there were few doubts, it’s been like this in Paris for years ed.). Even the Spaniard, like his predecessors, doesn’t seem to please the environment, both for his play – a bit fluctuating, not considered at the self-styled level of the team – and for his statements, sometimes cryptic and other times excessively direct. One of the questionable managements, according to the Equipe, concerns that of Kolo Muani. The French striker, purchased from Eintracht for more than a few pennies, is practically out of the squad despite being totally fit to potentially take the field.
Luis Enrique excludes (again) Kolo Muani: transfer clue?
Below is what we read from L’Equipe:
“It is with a group of 21 players that PSG will travel to Monaco this Wednesday evening for the advance matchday 16 of Ligue 1. A list that does not include Randal Cole Muaniwho had not already been called up for Sunday’s match against OL (3-1). If we notice Milan Skriniar’s return to the group, we will notice the absence of Presnel Kimpembe as well as that of Nuno Mendes, who injured his right thigh this weekend.”
On the occasion of the missed call against the Lyonthe French newspaper had also reported as follows:
“Since we really don’t have to take Luis Enrique’s statements at the press conference into account, we have to carefully examine even the smallest of his decisions. On this point the Spaniard has never hidden himself. He always said in public that his actions would speak louder than his words. The absences of Randal Kolo Muani and Milan Skriniar, added to that of Presnel Kimpembe – who is fit to play – mark a new turning point in the Spaniard’s relationship with his players. No injuries to report, these are in fact the choices of the coach.”
At this point, PSG – who in the summer seemed to have offered millions (few) to buy Osimhen – could return to the attack for the Nigerian, whose 75 million clause will come into effect on 1 July 2025 (until January it will instead be 81 million euros ed.).
