Il Romanista is unbalanced today on the rumors regarding Dybala’s move to Galatasaray in January.

“A photo coming from Türkiye is enough to fill online pages and newspaper lines again about the future of the left-handed player from Laguna Larga”. The photo in question portrays the intermediary Gardi together with Dybala’s agent, Carlos Novel in Istanbul. “All movements justified by Galatasaray’s real interest in the Roma player, but at least hasty for a negotiation that hasn’t even started or, better said, which died in the bud.”

In fact, the club’s interest in Dybala was born, according to Il Romanista, a month ago, when Icardi was injured due to a torn cruciate, the season over. Paulo was the ideal replacement, so contacts began, but Novel was clear: “thanks, but we are not interested, Paulo will move in January”.

The gist therefore is that Dybala rejected both Arabia and Turkey and this is a fact, according to the newspaper, what remains instead is the will of Roma who thought that the separation “it could be, under certain conditions, the right choice, especially in view of the automatic renewal provided for by Joya’s contract – and now only a few appearances as a starter away. An extension that those who keep track of Roma would like to avoid and Paulo’s entourage knows this well too.”

Ranieri’s words should therefore be read from this perspective: “it is convenient on the one hand to express the interest – concerted, but already rejected – of Galatasaray and on the other – Roma – to reiterate as Ranieri did yesterday that anyone who is not happy can leave Trigoria at any time, there are no indispensable players”
