(askanews) – Awards evening in Doha (where the Intercontinental Cup final between the Mexicans Pachuca and Real Madrid will be played tomorrow at 6pm Italian time), where Fifa awarded its awards to the best of 2024. The Best of Fifa saw Vinicius triumph among the players, a small revenge on Rodri, who a few weeks ago took home the Golden Ball against the Brazilian from Real, triggering the reaction of Florentino Perez.
In addition to Vinicius, another Madrid great triumphed: Carlo Ancelotti was in fact voted best coach of the year. The Puskas award went to Alejandro Garnacho for the goal of the year in Everton-Manchester United 0-3 in the Premier League on 26 November 2023.
