The Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole SA on Tuesday chose Olivier Gavalda to take over as CEO of the French banking group’s listed entity at the close of the General Assembly on May 14, 2025, Les Echos reported.

Olivier Gavalda will replace Philippe Brassac, CEO of Crédit Agricole SA since May 2015, who had reached the age limit for the exercise of his functions, set by the company’s statute at 65 years.
