Chelsea Mudryk positive – The adventure of Mykhailo Mudryk al Chelsea it’s turning out to be a real flop: the Ukrainian winger isn’t showing the qualities highlighted at home and from today things are getting even worse. As reported the official website of the Blues Mudryk tested positive in an anti-doping test. The player has already asked for counter-analysis.
Press release – “Chelsea Football Club can confirm that the Football Association recently contacted our player Mykhailo Mudryk regarding a negative result in a routine urine test. Both the Club and Mykhailo fully support the FA’s testing program and all our players, including Mykhailo, are tested regularly. Mykhailo categorically confirmed that he had never knowingly used any banned substance. Both Mykhailo and the Club will now work with the relevant authorities to establish what caused the negative result. The Club makes no further comments.”

The words of the footballer – “I can confirm that I was informed that a sample I provided to the FA contained a banned substance. This came as a total shock as I have never knowingly used any banned substances or broken any rules and I am working closely with my team to investigate how this could have happened. I know I haven’t done anything wrong and I remain confident that I will be back on the pitch soon. I can’t say anything else now due to the confidentiality of the trial, but I will do so as soon as I can.”
