People of Play (POP) announced that Shannon Swindle, a respected figure in the toy and gaming industry, has joined the organization as new Director of People of Play. Shannon brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion for the industry, making her a valuable addition to the team.
Who is Shannon Swindle
In his previous role as Inventor Relations Manager for the Games division of Moose ToysShannon played a crucial role in growing the company’s gaming division, building strong relationships with the inventor community. His work on the licensing for 18 games over the last two years, including award-winning products such as Pickleball Blasthas solidified its reputation as a creative force and trusted collaborator in the world of toys and games.
As Director of People of Play, SHannon will lead initiatives to strengthen connections within the global toy communityenhance innovation, and celebrate the creators and collaborators who bring joy to millions of children and families. This nomination reflects The Toy Association’s commitment to elevating creativity, innovation and consumer engagement across the toy industry, further enhancing the impact and reach of POP events.
Shannon will report to Mary Couzin, senior vice president and founder/leader of People of Play at The Toy Association. Together, they will focus on expanding The Toy Association’s People of Play division, includingInventor Pitch & Innovation Conferences of POP Week, i TAGIE Awardsthe Young Inventor Challengand, the Chicago Toy & Game Fair and the POP platform.
