The 30th edition of the French Television Producer Prize, which took place on December 16, 2024 in , rewarded Dandelooo Production (Animation), Elda° Productions (Documentary) and What's Up Films (Fiction).

After once again saluting the exceptional quality, diversity and backgrounds of the nominated companies, the jury awarded the prize of French television producer 2024 in the Animation category has DANDELOOO PRODUCTIONled by Jean-Baptiste Wery et Emmanuèle Petry Sirvin. This choice was motivated by the bold graphic quality of the works produced, their search for talented young authors, as well as their ability to adapt and distribute new works on the international scene. Among their flagship productions are:

  • “The Upside Down River” (8 x 22', produced by Paul Leduc, for Canal+, RTBF and Ketnet)
  • « Billy le hamster cowboy » (48 x 11' and 2 x 22', by Antoine Riota and Caz Murrell, for Télévisions).

In category Documentarythe price of French television producer 2024 was assigned to ELDA° PRODUCTIONSfounded in 2016 by Christilla Huillard-Kann et Corinne Delpech. The jury praised the creativity, commitment, risk-taking and international reach of this young company. Among their noted productions:

  • “Become big” (Until I Flydirected by Kanisha Sonthalia and Siddesh Shetty, for France Télévisions, BBC, SVT, NRK and Al Jazeera).
  • « Rodeo Girls »by Justine Morvan and Kévin Noguès (co-produced with Arte France and Bip ).

Finally, in the category Fictionthe price of French television producer 2024 was awarded to WHAT’S UP FILMSled by Matthieu Belghiti et Jean-Xavier de Lestrade. The jury was impressed by the editorial consistency and the richness of their filmography. Among their major creations:

  • The series “Sambre” (directed by Jean-Xavier de Lestrade, for France 2)
  • “Influence games” (for Arte)
  • The TV movie “Invisible wounds”directed by Sarah Marx, for France 2.

These three awards demonstrate a French audiovisual sector in constant evolution, capable of combining innovation and artistic excellence. They promote ambitious projects that extend well beyond our borders. A great recognition for these artisans of image and story!
