The body of the teenager, missing since Friday evening, was found on Sunday at 1:30 a.m. in the street. Inès, who had pretended to have to collect documents for an internship, had in fact met the teenager at a bus stop, after several days of exchanges on the social network Snapchat.

These exchanges, spotted by Inès' sister, allowed the police to quickly identify the teenager. In reality, he wanted to ambush the schoolgirl to steal her phone. He “pretended to want to give her a gift from a friend”, a jewelry box, and took her to a nearby wood, Limoges public prosecutor Emilie Abrantes said at a press conference. He took care to bring a knife “so that he could intimidate him if necessary”. Faced with the young boy, Inès did not give in and tried to call her sister. Panicked, the teenager stabbed her. He abandoned the body, threw the knife in a cellar and fled.

A football match the day after the murder

On Saturday afternoon, as if nothing had happened, the young man joined his football team to play a match, indicates The People of the Center. “I saw him, he was as usual, not angry or tense,” says the president of his club in Condat-sur-Vienne. He describes “a hard-working kid, a little sanguine on the pitch, but who never got people talking about him”.

Inès and the teenager knew each other and sometimes took the bus together, claims Le Figaro. Inès was educated in 3rd grade at the Maryse-Bastié college in Limoges. The alleged murderer was completely unknown to the police.

Around forty stab wounds

The teenager was presented to the investigating judge and indicted for violent robbery resulting in death. The prosecution requested his placement in pre-trial detention. Inès received around forty stab wounds to the neck, under the left breast and in the back with sometimes deep wounds. The body must be autopsied this Tuesday, December 17.
