Bayrou continues his consultations

Censorship or “facilitating force”?
After her meeting at Matignon, Marine Le Pen welcomed a “more positive method”, while the First Secretary of the Socialist Party Olivier Faure came out “hungry” from the meeting, during which they had “a lot spoken” about this non-censorship pact, without the exchange being “conclusive”.
Gabriel Attal, leader of the Macronist deputies and president of the Renaissance party, left without a word, to remain, according to those around him, “a facilitating force”. As for Laurent Wauquiez, leader of the Republican Right deputies, he said nothing either. But his counterpart in the Senate, Mathieu Darnaud, who accompanied him, then said he wanted François Bayrou to “quickly clarify his roadmap” with “regal issues”, “immigration” or even “the agricultural emergency”.
LFI did not wish to meet the Prime Minister.
The “special law” adopted
The National Assembly unanimously adopted the “special law”, authorizing in particular the executive to levy taxes. The text, which will be examined Wednesday in the Senate, was adopted by all 481 voting deputies.
