Last protocol session this evening, in the council room of Tournefeuille town hall. Elected officials meet for the final municipal council meeting in 2024 at 6 p.m. A session which promises to be long, with several deliberations which should not trigger lively debates.
Major point of this evening’s council, the establishment of a municipal mutual fund. Or rather an agreement between the town hall and a mutualist group, which would make it possible to “reduce the health bill”, particularly among Tourfeuillais seniors. A “social” measure, which should attract the support of a large number of elected officials – “if not all”, we hope in the municipal majority.
If adopted, the mutual would take place at the start of next year, and would be intended for all residents of the city but also those who work there without living there.
Jumbled together, other files will be presented to the advisors, including the installation of four stations for the VélôToulouse network, or the creation of around a hundred additional places at the Pahin cemetery. Without this, the latter “could reach saturation soon”, warns Frédéric Parre, the mayor.
The municipal council is being held this evening at 6 p.m., it is possible to follow it online on the town hall website.
