The author of 5 murders in one afternoon on Saturday surrendered himself to the Ghyvelde gendarmerie after killing his former boss, two former security guard colleagues and two migrants in cold blood. The 22-year-old young man can be heard by investigators until Wednesday.

The shock also affected the coastal motorcycle club in Loon-Plage, which paid tribute on its Facebook page to Marc, one of the security agents. We learn that his twin brother learned the sad news within the motorcycle club on Saturday evening, a brother with whom he had been teaming up for years in the refueling and signage area of the Ronde des Sables.

“Was it crazy? A premeditated act? What links are there between the murder of his former boss, the security agents and the migrants found dead, all shot dead on Saturday afternoon… These are the questions that investigators are asking themselves.
The perpetrator is only 22 years old. Unknown to the police and the courts, it all started from a dispute with his former boss in Wormhout. The start of a deadly journey in Dunkirk.
After killing the 29-year-old business manager in front of his home in Wormhout, the author took his car and went to Loon-plage near the canal des dunes. He killed two men aged 33 and 37, security guards, former work colleagues according to sources, with several bullets.
Then almost five kilometers further, two migrants aged 19 and 30, Iranian nationals, were shot dead not far from a camp.
Around 5:20 p.m., the murderer presented himself to the Ghyvelde gendarmerie brigade and admitted the facts. In his car, the soldiers found several firearms. Investigators have until Wednesday to understand his profile and his motivations. He risks life imprisonment. »
The public prosecutor's office of the Dunkirk judicial court is currently leading a flagrant investigation into these facts. It is entrusted to the organized and specialized crime division (DCOS) of the interdepartmental service of the judicial police of the North (SIPJ 59).
