Wednesday is a big day, as it’s a World of Warcraft content update! Well, this 11.0.7 is certainly only a minor patch before the most anticipated 11.1, but nevertheless brings a new areanew quests as well as many cosmetic rewards : mounts, pets and other transmogrifications.
Mermaid Islandwhich are strongly reminiscent of the Forbidden Confins of Dragonflight in terms of content, namely a new island with some daily quests and a new ring, will be the new zone of The War Withinwhich will make us wait before Season 2. Here is a rough outline of what you can expect from this Wednesday.
Cosmetic rewards galore
11.0.7 will introduce a new currency linked to this Mermaid Island: the Iron blessed by fire. This will be used to purchase a large number of cosmetic rewards via various NPCs present. And when we tell you very many, we tell you VERY manynamely almost a hundred!
Circe’s ring
Circe’s ring will be an epic ring almost BiS for all classes in the game, and which has the particularity of being the first ring visible on your character in game!
Frames
Many mounts can be recovered in 11.0.7, such as (we only have the names in English at the moment):
- Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren
- Prismatic Snapdragon
- The Breaker’s Song
- Soweezi’s Vintage Waveshredder
Mass transmogs
11.0.7 will also introduce a huge number of transmogs via several NPCs, a bit like what was done in Dragonflight via the event Temporal fissures which gave Paracausal Glitter.

But that’s not all!
Indeed, 11.0.7 is not 100% a cosmetic patch! The story around the Arathi is developing more and more, and speaking of which, both Humans and Kul Tirans are being offered new visual customization: Arathi’s pointed ears.
Many racial skills were also retouched with buffs for all the “baddest” ones in the game (Draenei, Vulperins, Zandalari Troll, etc.).
Huge changes also appreciated regarding ECU to improve your equipment! The weekly cap is finally removed, the cost to buy the one in order to craft at the highest level goes from 90 to 45, and you will earn more in Mythic +, depending on the key level (up to 20 coins in +12) !
Finally in terms of scenario, the epilogue of Dalaran and the Kirin Tor is on the program, as well as the prologue of the huge patch 11.1, Undermine(d) among the goblins and their underground capital, Terremine!
