Work on the future Technocentre on Avenue d'Atlanta, in the Roseraie district, is in full swing. Very large mounds of earth are visible to users of the avenue and residents
For the moment, we don't see much of this XXL construction site, except for the mounds of earth that stand up along Avenue d'Atlanta, in Toulouse.
The opening of the new technocenter in the city of Toulouse is planned for 2027 on avenue d'Atlanta, in the Roseraie district. It will accommodate the services in charge of public lighting, the collection of household waste, the management of municipal and metropolitan vehicles, but also the Eastern Territorial Pole, responsible in particular for the cleanliness of public spaces and the maintenance of the roads.
600 agents gathered on this site in the future
The site will bring together more than 600 agents from the town hall and the metropolis. A nine-story office tower will be positioned to the south of the site. There will also be huge car parks where around 430 vehicles can be parked (tippers, heavy goods vehicles, trailers, etc.) and an outdoor storage site covering a total area of almost 30,000 m².
“As part of the construction of the 3rd metro line, many technical services of Toulouse Métropole are impacted by future stations and public developments,” recalls Toulouse Métropole, referring in particular to the Raisin and Ginestous sites.
The future Technocentre, which will extend over nearly six hectares, represents an investment of 102 million euros. The architectural competition was won in 2020 by the Taillandier and Puig Pujol group. Designed as a positive energy building and certified High Environmental Quality (HQE), it will be equipped with photovoltaic panels, a wastewater recovery system and connected to a heating network. The landscape integration of the site has also been carefully studied to offer a “high quality” setting.
