Julien Bouju, by his nickname Anubistrange on social networks, broadcasts and comments live on all Tours FC matches in R1 this season, on the club’s YouTube channel. A great experience for this young Tours FC fan who lives in Monts.
At the time of the club’s relegation to R1 due to financial difficultiesJulien notes that the matches of the Touraine club will no longer be commented live. He then makes a joke on his X accountformerly Twitter. On August 24, he wrote: “no one comments on Tours FC matches anymore. It gives me ideas.“A joke that quickly becomes a reality. He gets a meeting with the club’s communications team who gives him the green light.
“It’s a really important club for me”
“I started watching Tours FC matches when I was five or six years old, with my father. One thing led to another, I continued. It’s a really important club for me. When we’re little and we watch the Girouds, the Song Jin-hyungs at the Vallée du Cher stadium in Ligue 2, we don’t think that 12 years later we’ll be there commenting on the matches“, he rejoices.
With the difference that Tours FC no longer evolves quite at the same levelafter its relegation to R1 this season. But that doesn’t discourage this 19-year-old: “even if the club is in difficulty, it remains the same logo, the same name and still a club that deserves the high level in France“.
With these broadcasts, Julien Bouju hopes to bring back a younger audience to Tours FC because the young person is already followed by a solid community. In addition to commenting on these matches, he is also a YouTuber and has more than 160,000 subscribers. On his channel Anubistrange talks about a wide variety of football topics, including the Korean championship, but always tries to place the Touraine club somewhere.
