TF1 is the leader in prime time on Saturday December 14 with the election of Miss France 2025. According to Médiamétrie, the first part, from 9:12 p.m. to 12:02 a.m., brought together 7,43 millions of viewers, or 42,6% of the public aged 4 and over. On the target of Women responsible for purchases under 50 (FRDA-50), its audience share is 64,1%. The second, from 00:04 to 00:51, brought together 6,04 millions of viewers (61,2% from the public; 69,5% FRDA-50). Presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault, with the participation of Cindy Fabre, from the Arena Futuroscope, she crowned Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss Martinique. The latter succeeds Eve Gilles, Miss France 2024. On December 16, 2023, Eve Gilles, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, won the competition in front of 7.24 million viewers (44.1% of the public; 60.0 % of FRDA-50).
Saturday December 7, the two parts of the “Star Academy”, presented by Nikos Aliagas, with Karima Charni, were followed, on average, by 2.64 million viewers (17.7% of the public; 33.6% of the FRDA-50).
France 3 is holding up well with rebroadcast fiction
France 3 is second with the rebroadcast of the French detective fiction “Les Mystères de la tide”, which convinced 3,29 millions of viewers (16,6% from the public; 3,2% FRDA-50). This TV film stars Garance Thenault, Christopher Bayemi and Julie Gayet. It was written by Laure Duthilleul and Lorenzo Gabriele and directed by the latter. Last week, the unpublished French fiction “Les Mystères du Clos des Lilas”, written and directed by Lorenzo Gabriele, with Fanny Cottençon and Blandine Bellavoir, was on display at La Trois. It captivated 3.76 million viewers (19.7% of the public; 4.3% of the FRDA-50).
France 2 is third with the documentary series “And does it make you laugh? A history of French comedy”. Narrated by Alison Wheeler, this series, written by Frédéric Bonnaud, is made up of four episodes: “Les deux fait la pair”, “Les amis d’abord”, “Laughing with one’s time” and “Beast and villain”, respectively directed by Alexia Gaillard, Clélia Cohen, Diane Lisarelli and Selma Schnabel. The first of the evening, “The two make the pair”, captured 1,38 million of viewers (6,8% from the public; 1,9% FRDA-50). On average, the four episodes were of interest 1,09 million of viewers (6,2% from the public; 2,1% FRDA-50). Seven days ago, France 2 offered the program “Notre-Dame, the reopening – the big evening”, led by Stéphane Bern. It was a hit, attracting 3.91 million viewers (22.0% of the public).
France 5 is fourth with a new issue of the magazine “Echappées Belles”. Worn by Ismaël Khelifa, this issue dedicated to Quebec has fascinated 793.000 travel enthusiasts (4,0% from the public; 1,6% FRDA-50). The previous week, another new issue of “Echappées Belles” was on the menu of France 5. Piloted by Jérôme Pitorin and highlighting Quercy, it caught the attention of 848,000 viewers (4.4% of the public; 2. 6% of FRDA-50).
