Miss Martinique 2024, Angélique Angarni-Filopona 34-year-old flight attendant, candidate the oldest in the history of the competitionwas elected Miss France 2025 this Saturday, December 14 on TF1, live from Futuroscope in Poitiers.
“It’s an honor to stand in front of you. When I won the Miss Martinique competition, I told the people of Martinique that we were going to do it together. And we did it together! Thank you!”said the young woman of 1.83m, she who succeeds Eve Gilles, Miss France 2024 and Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2023.
The runners-up for Miss France 2025 are respectively Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2024, Sabah Aïb, 18 years old, Miss Corsica 2024, Stella Vangioni, 27 years old, Miss Guadeloupe 2024, Moïra André, 27 years old and Miss Côte d’Azur 2024 , Lilou Emeline-Artuso, 21 years old.

Angélique Angarni-Filopon had already introduced herself in the Miss Martinique election in 2011. She decided to run again during the modernization of the competition, which was banned for years for those over 24.

A first for Martinique since the beginning of the Miss France competition
Born in Martinique, Angélique Angarni-Filopon grew up in Val-d’Oisewhere she says she overcame “mockery” during his childhood.
This election is unprecedented for Martinique, which can now celebrate its first Miss France since the creation of the competition in 1920.
Her mother battled breast cancer
“To say this moment is something I’ve dreamed of all my life would be an understatement.” declared Angélique Angarni-Filopon on stage Saturday evening. “Life has taught me that giving up is absolutely not an option.”
“My mother, here present, suffered from breast cancerwhich gives me a very special feeling for this cause, but in reality it is all of your causes and your actions of which I wish to be the ambassador for the year 2025″she added.
A new Miss with short hair, one year after the coronation of Eve Gilles
Chaired this year by singer Sylvie Vartan, the Miss France 2025 jury, again 100% femininewas notably composed of the Olympic champion Marie-José Pérec and the host and stylist Cristina Cordula.
