End of the enchanted parenthesis for Miss Languedoc. And the start of another! Jade Benazech gives us her impressions the day after her participation in the Miss France 2025 ceremony, this Saturday, December 14.
How do you feel the day after the Miss France 2025 ceremony?
I’m doing very well ! There is a bit of disappointment, but you have to admit that there are bound to be losers. It was written like that! Of course, I would have liked to participate in all the tables. Wearing a “princess dress” is a little girl’s dream! Being part of the prime was a great adventure.
How did the second part of the evening go, when you didn’t make the top 15?
The production did things very well. We are all gathered in front of a screen, and as the misses return backstage, we support the candidates in the running. The atmosphere is wonderful. We were totally with them. These are important moments for them, they need us. We are united throughout the adventure.
We see you slipping during the “Miss’ Ball” painting. What happened?
My dress was stuck under my heel, so no more grip on the ground. At this time we wear 12 centimeter heels. I caught up well, we trained during the master classes for this type of incident. We are taught to fall! The production was lovely, and assured me that it went unnoticed! It’s a detail.
How do you judge your own performance?
I haven’t watched the ceremony yet, but the feedback from my friends and family is great. I had a lot of fun, that’s the main thing.
What awaits you in the coming days?
I’m leaving Poitiers this Sunday morning and hitting the road again, heading towards Narbonne, my friends, my family, my cats! Life does not stop, on the contrary. The competition will open doors to modeling for me, I hope because I loved it. I am returning to my nursing studies in the second year, next September.
And you remain Miss Languedoc until next August!
Yes, I am still going to give myself a well-deserved break, because the elections start on February 8, 2025. I can’t wait to be there for the contenders, to support them, especially those who will not be selected. It’s always difficult to live with.
Do you want to continue dancing for example?
Not really, even though I discovered some talents. When I was little, I did a lot of GRS. I will especially continue in handball.
Are you close to Miss Roussillon, your regional neighbor who also did not appear in the top 15?
Roussillon (Cassiopée Rimbaud), she’s my real friend, and we will stay that way for life! It’s a very nice meeting. We hugged each other, telling ourselves that this experience only happens once in a lifetime. We’re not going to remake the world though!
