Dragon Ball Sparking Zero – Free Update
The Bandai Namco website has just announced a set of elements which will be updated tomorrow for the event video game of the Dragon Ball franchise: Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero. The update will be done during maintenance which will take place on Thursday, December 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. French time.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero – Free Update
The planned update contains a number of adjustments to gameplay, the combat system, features, etc. in order to have a better gaming experience.
Combat level adjustments
All levels will now be available in player 1 vs player 2 fights.
Feature adjustments
Configuration de combat
- A function allowing you to change the display method of a character has been added.
- The “My Settings” feature has been added for team members.
Ranked Match / Player Match
- You can now skip introductory combat animations (requires both players to input command to skip).
Player match
- You can now set your team as hidden or not from your opponent when editing your team.
Custom Battle Mode
- Text can now be sorted alphabetically.
Options
- You can now set the combat camera distance to be closer.
Combat system adjustments
Dragon Quick Dash (New Action)
- The new fast movement action, “Dragon Quick Dash”, which allows you to quickly move towards your opponent, has been added. Execute it with R2 and hold X (PS5) or RT and hold A (XSX/S).
Smash Attack
- You will no longer be stunned if you are hit by a Rush Ki Blast while charging a Smash attack.
- When charging a Smash attack during a Rush attack, the charge time reduction based on the number of hits has been increased.
Rush Ki Blast
- The time between being able to fire the next Rush Ki Blast after firing the maximum consecutive amount at once (different for each character) has been increased.
Deflecting a Rush Ki Blast
- You can now move while deflecting Rush Ki Blasts.
Not
- You will no longer be able to be hit by certain attacks immediately after taking a step.
- Rush Ki Blast and Smash Ki Blast can now also be avoided.
Z-Burst Dash
- The amount of Ki consumed when activated has been increased.
Burst Smash
- Ki will no longer be consumed when activated but will consume an amount based on the distance traveled.
Blast
- Damage has been increased when using a boost.
Z-Search
- Z Search will no longer lose track of your opponent when you swap characters.
- You will now quickly find your opponent in sight if they enter your front view when Z Search is not locked on them.
Z-Counter
- The reaction window has been shortened.
- Z-Counter will become more difficult to perform if performed consecutively.
- Ki consumed has been increased upon successful execution of a Z-Counter.
- The speed of increasing skill counts has been reduced upon successfully performing a Z-Counter.
Revenge Counter
- The number of skills consumed when using Perception against Revenge Counter has been reduced from 2 to 1.
Rush Attacks pendant le mode Sparking!
- The gradual damage reduction of consecutive hits has been increased.
Combos
- The final attack of air combos and air strike combos will no longer be interrupted by a guard.
Character change
- The health recovery rate of waiting characters has been reduced.
Z-Burst Dash (giant characters)
- The tackle performed by giant characters during Z-Burst Dashes can now be avoided.
Skill Adjustments
Skills causing instant sparks! Fashion
- The number of skills consumed has been increased.
Stat increasing skills in general
- The number of skills consumed has been reduced.
Afterimage Strike
- The duration of the effect has been reduced to 10 seconds and will be removed if your opponent uses Perception while you are under the effect.
Faux courage
- The number of skills consumed has been increased from 1 to 2.
Technique: All I need is five seconds!
- The number of skills consumed has been increased from 3 to 2 and the status increase upon activation has been increased.
Stardust Barrier
- You can now activate it while receiving melee attacks from the front.
Blasting Settings
Long Range Blasts and Ultimate Blasts
- Speed has been reduced.
Super Vegito : Kamehameha final
- Ki consumption and damage have been increased.
Goku (Mini): Fast Rush
- Path can now be changed during Rush.
Satan: Bomb Presents
- End lag after activation has been increased.
Character Adjustments
Android 19/Dr Gero
- The amount of health/Ki absorbed during a successful throw has been adjusted.
- Dragon Dash, Quick Ascend, and Quick Descend now consume Ki.
Cell 2e forme
- You can now escape the throw.
Cooler
- The amount of health restored when transforming has been increased.
Giant characters
- Increased the time it takes to charge a Smash attack and reduced its power.
Grand singe Vegeta/Dr Wheelo
- Maximum health has been reduced.
Other
- We've improved performance and ease of use.
Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero
Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO is a 3D fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft, and published by Bandai Namco. This is a new opus in the Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi series (Dragon Ball Z Sparking! in Japan). The game was first revealed in March 2023 during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour event, where a first teaser was shown. The very first trailer was revealed in December 2023 during the Game Awards ceremony, revealing gameplay. Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO is available on PS5, XBOX Series X|S and PC on October 11, 2024in Standard, Deluxe, Ultimate and Collector's Editions.
